He did his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Government College of Engineering, Salem, Master degree in Automobile Engineering at the MIT Campus, Anna University, Chennai. He won the University First Rank in
M.E. Automobile Engineering. He received his Ph.D from Anna University in recognizing his significant contribution in the area of Thermal aspects in IC Engines.
Dr.R.Silambarasan, is a celebrated member of Professional bodies such The Combustion Institute of India, MISTE and SAE.
Dr.R.Silambarsan is also an Associate Editor/Editorial Board Member/ Reviewer of Various International Journals.
