Dr. Parakh Basist is a dedicated pharmacologist with a passion for research and academia. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the prestigious Jamia Hamdard University, where she also completed her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Pharmacy with exceptional academic achievements. During her Ph.D., Dr. Basist was awarded a Fellowship from the University Grants Commission as a National Fellow, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the field.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Dr. Basist brings a wealth of experience and expertise in various domains of pharmaceutical sciences. Her professional journey includes significant contributions as a Senior Research Fellow at Jamia Hamdard, where she worked on a consultancy project focused on the quality control evaluation of herbal extracts and juices.

Dr. Basist's research interests span across a wide spectrum, including pharmacological interventions for various ailments, bioactive natural products, and herbal formulations. Her commitment to innovation and excellence has been acknowledged through various accolades, including the Best Oral Presentation Award at the International Conference in 2024.

Dr. Basist has made notable contributions to the scientific community through her publications in renowned journals, both as a first author and co-author. Her research endeavors have been recognized with awards, including the Best Poster Award at the International IASTAM Conclave in 2022. She is also a patent holder for a herbal synergistic composition aimed at managing cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity.
