About
Dr. Vishwanath R. S joined the Centre for Research in Functional Materials (CRFM), Jain University, in March 2023. Before joining CRFM, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Chemical Sciences, Ariel University, Israel, supported by the Ariel University International Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Vishwanath earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Science at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland, where he was supported by a Ph.D. scholarship from the National Science Centre (Govt. of Poland), Doctoral Scholarship by Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland and Secondment opportunity from Department of Applied Chemistry, Chuo University, Tokyo, Japan. His Ph.D. research has been recognized with honours, including an outstanding Ph.D. student award and the First Poster award in the 9th ‘International Workshop on Surface Modification for Chemical and Biochemical Sensing’ held in November 2019 in Poland.
Vishwanath enjoys meeting up with friends and family, going to the cinema and visiting places in his spare time.
