Dr. Senthilkumar Balakrishnan, Ph.D., currently serves as a Scientific Officer in Biological Sciences at the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology in Chennai, India. With an impressive 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and clinical diagnostics, Dr. Balakrishnan brings invaluable expertise to his role. His career has encompassed multiple prestigious positions, including his tenure as an Associate Professor of Medical Microbiology at Haramaya University in Ethiopia. One of Dr. Balakrishnan’s key research interests lies in Global Burden of Disease (GBD) studies. His involvement in GBD research highlights his commitment to addressing the world’s most pressing health challenges.
