Dr. Ajit Mondal is an Assistant Professor, at the Department of Education, West Bengal State University, Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He has published more than 35 papers in peer-reviewed journals, authored 5 books and also edited fifteen books on different aspects of education. His research papers and book chapters have remarkably been featured in the journals of Sage, Routledge, Springer, Kurukshetra, Yojana, NCERT (Govt. of India), University News (AIU), Mainstream Weekly, Bangladesh Education Journal (BAFED and Springer Book. He is a reviewer of Sage, Routledge & Springer Journals and books. Policy-making, historical development of education in India, social issues, child rights and right to education fall under the areas of his interest.
