About
Dr. Surya Prakash is an Full Professor of Operations ans Supply Chain Management, at Great Lakes Institute of Management Gurgoan, Haryana, India. In the past, he was with IIHMR University (then known as the Indian Institute of Health Management Research), Jaipur India as an Associate Professor of supply chain management, Associate Professor and Asst Dean (Academics) at BML Munjal University, Gurgaon. He had worked as an Assistant Professor with Mechanical Engineering Department, NorthCap University, Gurgaon (INDIA).
He earned his Ph.D. (Supply Chain Management) from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. Dr. Prakash did hisM.E. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from BITS, Pilani (INDIA) and B.E. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from IET (University Campus) Agra.
He has rich experince of teaching UG/PG courses like MBA, BBA, B.Tech, M.Tech and research experience of over a decade. His areas of research interest are supply chain management, risk management, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, operations research, and optimization. He has published A*, A, B, Q1, SCI journal articles. Editor of journals, on editorial review boards, published two books, earned two patents as well.
