About

I am pleased to introduce myself as Ghouse Modin Nabeesab Mamdapur. I currently hold the position of Scientist – Information and Documentation in the Department of New Product Development & Research at Synthite Industries Private Limited, Kochi, Kerala, a role I have held since June 2012.
I completed my Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Karnatak University, Dharwad, in 2008. Prior to joining Synthite, I gained valuable professional experience as a Library Trainee at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore (2008–2010), followed by roles as Librarian at Mindtree (2010–2011) and Knowledge Manager at Honeywell (2011–2012).
Throughout my professional journey, I have actively participated in numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences, which have helped broaden my knowledge and expertise across various domains. My areas of interest include information literacy, digital technologies, electronic resource management (ERM), user engagement, and information security. I am particularly keen on harnessing the potential of automation, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence to optimize library services, manage collections effectively, and enhance knowledge management practices.
My research primarily centers on bibliometrics and scientometrics, and I have published more than 110 research papers in esteemed national and international journals. I remain deeply passionate about contributing to the advancement of library and information science and knowledge management through continuous learning and dedicated research efforts.
