About
Prof. Khursheed Alam obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 1999 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Alam has been associated with the Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI), since July 2006. He has more than 18 years of teaching experience and research. His research areas are Fractals, Wavelets, Image Processing, non-linear dynamic Systems, Chaotic systems, Data mining, Diffusion models, and financial models for hyperchaotic systems. He has supervised 6 PhD theses at Sharda University, Gr. Noida. He is working as a professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics, at Sharda University, Gr. Noida. He is also the coordinator of "The A.H. Siddiqi Centre for Advance Research in Applied Mathematics and Physics (CARAMP)", Sharda University. He has published more than 53 research papers in many Scopus and SCI-indexed journals. He is the recipient of the Academic Excellence Awards-2021 for "Best Performer in Learning and Development"; received the International Conference & Academic Excellence Award on Recent Innovation and Interdisciplinary Research and Global Academic Excellence Awards-2021 for "Best Young Scientist"; received the National Conference & Academic Excellence Award on Recent Innovation and Interdisciplinary Research. He has published 5 books, 4 edited books, and many book chapters.
