Dr. Sree Govind Bharatvaraj's research focuses on media and cultural production, South Asian cinema, anti-caste cultural politics, social movements, Dalit studies, caste and gender intersectionality. He was formerly employed as contract faculty at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, and Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.
