About
Indranath Chakraborty received a Ph.D. in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He was an IIT Madras Institute Postdoctoral Fellow. Later, he was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, IL, USA. He was an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Philipps University of Marburg, Germany. He was also a research associate at the Center for Hybrid Nanostructure, University of Hamburg, Germany. He was an Assistant Professor at IIT Mandi for a short period. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nano Science and Technology at IIT Kharagpur. His area of research is focused on the synthesis and applications of atomically precise materials. He is a recipient of the J. C. Bose Patent Award and the Malhotra Weikfield Foundation Nanoscience Fellowship Award.
