Title of Ph.D. Dissertation: Biological activities of natural products derived from Poncirus trifoliata Rafin. 1992-1993: M.Sc. (Thesis) in 1993 in Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology (1yr duration) with first class third position, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Total marks obtained: 418 out of 600 (69.67%).
1989-1992: B.Sc. (Hons.) in 1992 in Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology (3 yr duration) with first class third position, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Total marks obtained: 626 out of 1000 (62.6%).

RESEARCH BACKGROUND
Present Research: Green Chemistry, Organic Chemistry & Natural Products Chemistry (Isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants and microorganisms such as bacteria and marine fungi, Analyses of essential oils and screening of their biological and pharmacological activities).
Scientific Officer: I carried out research at Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (Nov '99 - Feb '00) in the field of building materials and on the projects entitled "Insulating Brick from Rice Husk Ash" and "Soil Stabilized Building Block."
M.Sc. level: I carried out research on Natural Products Chemistry.
