About
Prof. Dr. Dipak Tatpuje has over 42 years of experience in the field of experiential education, project consulting, and research projects at national and international level by developing models for rural development through empowerment of youths. He completed more than 17 projects with national and international organizations like UNESCO-Bangkok, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology, and Mathematics Educators (CASTME-Asia), Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. He founded VidyaDeep Foundation in November 2004. He is a Reviewing Editor at Springer Nature.
He is also a serial social entrepreneur who founded further two Satara based NGOs and two credit cooperative societies to help the first generation of entrepreneurs during 1990 to 2010. He holds doctoral degree in management and master's degree in management science with other professional qualifications like DBM, ADCSSAA, DEE.
Dr. Tatpuje developed Model of career counseling with a tool, "7 Point Career Aptitude Test" for age group of 15 to 17. It has been tried out over the period of three decades. He is Google Certified Innovator, Google Applied Skills Ambassador, & Expert of the UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab. He is a practicing researcher of commercializing innovative products, research projects and Ideation lab processes. He invented TAILOR-C Model of EE (Technology Action In Learning Of enteRprise Creation Model of Entrepreneurship Education) during his PhD and practiced it on the field. He visited Oxford, Cambridge, London, Singapore, Bangkok, Washington, California, Cairo, Seoul & Tashkent for collaborative projects. He was actively involved as a Business Incubator Manager in India Innovation Growth Program (IIGP-2014) of Stanford University, NSTEDB, DST, Govt. of India, and Indo-US Science and Technology Forum. He bagged prestigious awards like Dr. V. G. Patel Memorial Award 2024 of EDII, Ahmedabad, U. P. Govt. National Award of ISTE, New Delhi and Best Entrepreneurship Educator award of CSE-NITIE (IIM), Mumbai. He wrote a number of books on vocational education and columns on career planning and counseling in all leading dailies and weeklies of Maharashtra. Dr. Tatpuje developed a number of technology integrated learning materials funded by international organizations with his expertise in educational technology and instructional design. Numbers of research paper publications are on his credit. His present research areas of interest are Project Based Learning, "Experiential and activity-based education", Social Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial management and education.
