About
Dr. Ram Kumar Tittal, Organic Synthesis Chemist, has expertise in Organic Synthesis for developing biologically essential molecules. He has investigated the behavior of radicals generated under transition metal-mediated radical reactions of trichloromethyl group-containing organic substrates. The mechanistic approach for the new synthetic methodologies and investigations of the negative results of research work always remains the prime focus of his studies. His research work also focuses on the sustainable development of products and processes. His research field has recently given room for an interdisciplinary approach to the sustainable development of biomolecules and high-energy materials. He has published several research papers in reputed International Journals. He is the recipient of several awards, the Special Prize in the Dr. K. B. Lal Memorial Chemistry contest, DEI, Dayalbagh Agra (India), recipient of SRF and JRF at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, and recently he was honored by the Vice- Chancellor of Chattrapati Sahooji Maharaj University, Kanpur on teachers day 05th September 2021 for his contribution in NEP-2020. He has 14 years of teaching and research experience. He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana (India).
