About
I had received Bachelor’s degree in Technology from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, Master’s degree in Technology from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, and PhD in the field of Computer Science & Engineering from Shri Venkateshwara University, Uttar Pradesh. I am a senior member of IEEE, International Association of Engineering (IAENG) and life member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) since 2007.
I am working with Chitkara University, Punjab, and currently holds the position of Associate Director (Academic Affairs) & Associate Professor, CSE. I am presently handling an additional responsibility of Nodal Officer, SWAYAM since Sep 2024 and Vice President, Institution Innovation Council since June 2025. I had received prestigious ISTE Section Best Teacher Award 2023 for significant contribution in Technical Education and Research. I am also listed in the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide (2025) by Elsevier & Stanford University in the field of Information & Communication Technologies.
In past, I had served various institutions on various profiles faculty to administrator to researcher. I have more than 19 years of teaching experience. I was Professor In charge of Spoken Tutorial and e-Yantra Academy, NMEICT - MHRD initiatives for e-Yantra lab setup (ELSI) and promotion of free open-source software (FOSS).
My research interests include Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Medical Informatics and Machine Learning. I have to my credit 4 published Indian patents, 1 design, more than 60 research publications including 4 SCI, 5 WOS & 58 SCOPUS in refereed International and National Journals and Conferences.
