Dr. Shagun Kainth is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Research and Development in CIF, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India. She received her Ph.D. from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, India, in 2020 and her Postdoc from 2020-2024 TIET-Virigina Tech, Centre of Excellence in Emerging Materials, Patiala, India. Her research areas include developing fluorescent materials for biomedical applications, Biogenic silica extraction and its engineering for wastewater treatment, and 2D materials for forensic science applications. She won the Young Scientist Award in the year of 2018. She has published 18 number of SCI publications.
