About
I joined Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB India) as a Post Doctoral Fellow. I am an experimentalist and interested in exploring the advanced seedless growth method of ZnO nanorods, and consequently I focus on the application of ZnO nanorods in the tactile sensors array for electronic skin, haptic sensors, self-powered sensors, energy harvesting devices, and other similar piezoelectric devices. The vertical well-aligned ZnO Nanorods can further be utilized in the development of biocompatible piezoelectric haptic sensors for prostheses. I am also focusing on the modeling and simulation of the single piezoelectric ZnO nanorods for the quantitative understanding of piezoelectricity.
