Sanjeev Singh is a Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India since February 2020. Previously, He has served MANIT Bhopal as Associate Professor between Jan. 2019 to Feb 2020. He was Associate Professor with Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Department, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Sangrur, Punjab, India between Nov. 2013 to Jan. 2019 . Before joining SLIET as Lecturer in Jan. 2000, he was with North India Technical Consultancy Organization Ltd. (NITCON), Chandigarh, as Project Officer, since Apr. 1997. There he was handling the industrial trouble shooting assignments along with consultancy in the area of energy management and renewable energy applications.
He was with École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) Montreal, Quebec, Canada as Post Doctoral Researcher between Dec. 2016 to Jun. 2017.
He has more than 50 research papers in various international and national journals and conferences. His areas of interest include application of power electronics to electrical machines and drives, Grid integration of renewable energy, for energy efficiency and power quality improvement.
Dr. Singh is a Fellow of IETE (India) and IE (India), Senior Member of IEEE (USA) and Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the System Society of India (SSI).
