About

Sreeram Radhakrishnan received his B. Tech degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2003 and his Masters degree in Ocean Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey in 2005. He completed his PhD degree in Ocean Engineering in 2008. As part of his doctoral thesis, he conducted research on acoustic propagation in the Hudson River Estuary. Upon completion of his PhD, he joined Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), California as a Project Engineer for design and development of a station-keeping buoy powered by extracting wave energy. He joined Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory on 27 Dec, 2010 as Scientist C and has been posted in the Ocean Acoustics division.
