About
Professor in Biotechnology.
Experienced Biotechnologist with a demonstrated history of work in the Teaching and Education and R&D settings. He is skilled at Molecular Biology, Plant and animal Cell Culture, proteins wetlab works such as crystallization, and Biodiversity based research. He is a strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with distinction in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain with benchworks realized at National Center of Biotechnology, Madrid and the work involved investigating Coronavirus-host cell interaction Dynamics as well as testing effects of certain drug ligand on allosteric modulations in the CoV receptor that affect CoV clinging.
Previously he has been associated with ICRISAT, Hyderabad. He recently published his work in the Nature Journal. He has three PhD students currently pursuing their investigations on Plants based metabolites and on biofortification.
Interests:
• To establish his research on investigative studies in understanding the molecular basis of infectious animal diseases, animal biodiversity, and resilient lives.
• To grow as a researcher and impart knowledge to the young laureates in biotechnology studies with his well versed teaching styles that moves beyond books and to real world scenarios.
• Develop a center of excellence into biotechnology research for studying possibilities of establishing plant and animal life in extra-earth climates.
