About
Dr. Devendra Kumar Somwanshi completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Instrumentation & Control in 2007 from Govt. Eng. College, Bikaner. He did his Master’s Degree in Electronics Instrumentation & Control from Thapar University, Patiala in 2009 and is currently pursuing his PhD. He started his teaching career as Assistant Professor, in JNIT, Jaipur (RTU) in 2009, during this time he authored 3 technical books. He joined Poornima Group, as M. Tech. Coordinator and worked in Advanced Studies and Research Center for more than 8 years. During this time he coordinated and supported to design and execute the curriculum for M. Tech and Ph. D. course work. He guided more than 30 M. Tech. research scholars till now. He has expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis, Image Processing, Instrumentation and Process Control. He has published more than 60 research papers in National and International conferences and journals including IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier etc. He has also expertise to organize International Conferences as publication chair including IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier conferences. He worked as IEEE Student Branch chair for more than 4 years. Due to dedication and sincerity, Poornima Management offered him the role of Registrar, Poornima College of Engineering in 2019. Now he is being promoted to Registrar of Poornima University, Jaipur since January, 2025.
