i am Soumyadeep Chowdhury. I was born on 13th February 1997 in Burdwan, West Bengal , India. I am currently a PhD Research Scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IISc Bengaluru. I have received my bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai Campus in 2019, and masters degree in Electrical Engineering (specialisation : High Voltage Engineering) from NIT Calicut, Kerala , in 2021. My research interests are lightning studies, condition monitoring of power equipments in high voltage systems, electromagnetic modelling.
