Dr. Vinod Krishnan completed his BDS in 1997 from Dr. MGR Medical University, MDS in orthodontics in 2001 from Kerala University, M.Orth from Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh and Ph.D from Kerala University. Currently he works as Professor and Head of Orthodontics in Sri Sankara Dental College, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. He is one among two editors, along with Dr. Ze’ev Davidovitch of the two books published by Wiley, UK titled “Biological Mechanisms of Tooth Movement and Integrated Clinical Orthodontics”. He serves as associate editor of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research and The Journal of Indian Orthodontic Society. He serves in the peer-review panel of various international orthodontic journals such as American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Journal of Dental Research, Angle Orthodontist, Journal of Orthodontics and Archives of Oral Biology. Along with his academics, he maintains a specialty orthodontic practice.
