About
My research expertise includes waste-to-energy production, waste management, and wastewater treatment, mainly using algal technology. Microalgae have recently cemented their place in various feedstock for bioenergy production, including by-products such as fish feed, biofertilizers, cosmetics, etc.
Currently, I am working as a Research Scientist at Pannon University, Nagykanizsa, Hungary. I am associated with the Renewable Energy Group in the Department of Water Technology. It is within this academic setting that I aspire to realize my vision of establishing a 'Waste-to-Energy Laboratory.' My goal is to provide a dedicated space for researching and developing innovative solutions that can convert waste into energy and valuable products. To kickstart this initiative, I will secure a seed grant from the Institute, and I will actively apply for additional funding opportunities by submitting projects and startup proposals.
Hands-on experiences:
1. Sample Preparation: Triacylglycerides, Lipid, Carbohydrate, Protein, Native Enzymes
2. Characterization Techniques: Spectrophotometers (fluorescence measurement, UV-vis absorptions measurement, FTIR), Chromatography analysis (gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy), Molecular biology techniques (NATIVE PAGE and SDS PAGE), Microscopy techniques (Scanning electron microscope, confocal microscope, compound microscopy)
3. Data Analysis: Excel, GraphPad Prism, Origin 8.5, Principal Component Analysis
