About
Sharad Gupta was born in 1987 in Lalitpur, India. He received his BSc from Dr. H.S. Gour University, Sagar, and his MSc from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He received his PhD from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India in 2020 under Dr. Vinod C Prabahkaran and Dr. Dinesh Jagadeesan. He worked on the development of heterogeneous catalysis for carbon dioxide hydrogenation. Later, he worked as a project scientist at CSIR-NCL. His research interests include the development of heterogeneous catalysts based on new concepts, activating the C-H bond, and utilizing carbon dioxide. In 2022, he joined Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, Dunkerque, France as a post-doctoral researcher in the Catalytic Treatment and Clean Energy team to study the methanation of carbon dioxide.
