Dr. Baxis Patel is presently working as an assistant professor at the Department of Commerce and Business Management, Faculty of Commerce, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat. He has also served as an assistant professor of marketing and research methodology subjects at D. R. Patel. R. B. Patel Commerce College and B. C. Patel BBA College, Surat, are affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU), Gujarat, India. He has more than 18 years of experience, including 4 years of corporate world experience, to name a few: HUL, ICICI, and Kotak Group of Companies at the managerial level. He completed his MBA from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University and his Ph.D. in Management from Veer Narmad South Gujarat, Surat, Gujarat. He also holds an M.Phil. degree in management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology in Social Science. He has also cleared the UGC—National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor (Management).
1. He is very active in academic research work, to his credit more than 40 research articles/papers published with ISSN, ISBN
publications; this also includes SCOPUS-indexed and UGC-listed journals. And authored or coauthored four books.
2. His two collaborative studies during lock down period on contemporary issues have been got space in leading newspapers like
Time of India, Gujarat Samachar etc.
3. He has participated in more than 30 research-related events that include conferences, seminars, workshops, FDPs, etc. He has
presented more than 35 research papers at national and international conferences and seminars.
4. He won four “Best Paper Award”, one at the national level conference and rests at the international conference and one third
“Best Project Presentation” award at a national level workshop on SPSS sponsored by UGC
5. He is on the editorial board and reviewing panel in the prominent international Journal and
6. He had been invited as a resource person, session chair, or speaker to national conferences, seminars, and FDPs.
7. He visited Taiwan and Singapore for participating and presenting research papers in Conferences.
