About

I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Experimental Physics at Comenius University, Bratislava. My current research focuses on the assignment and analysis of molecular line transitions of ammonia, with emphasis on spectroscopic interpretation and data-driven evaluation of experimental results.
Prior to my postdoctoral work, I completed my PhD in Physics with a specialization in Optics and Photonics (thesis defended on August 21, 2025). During my doctoral research, I worked extensively on the development of optical fiber-based VOC sensors, focusing on designing and fabricating sensors with consistent sensitivity on small-diameter fibers such as SMF-28 (125 µm).
My work combines experimental photonics with computational and data-driven approaches. I have developed lab-based systems including dip-coating setups for controlled fiber functionalization and real-time monitoring of coating processes, along with analysis of their performance for practical sensing applications, supported by peer-reviewed publications.
Alongside experimental work, I have strong experience in data analysis and scientific computing, including LabVIEW, Python, and COMSOL Multiphysics, particularly using Wave Optics and Fluid Flow modules for simulation and modeling of photonic and fluidic systems.
In addition to research, I have been actively involved in scientific outreach and community engagement as Secretary of the CSIO-OPTICA Student Chapter, contributing to event organization, communication, and promotion of optics education.
