About
A short biography about me, I'm Dr. Durai Govindarajan, I have a PhD. in Physics. Currently working as Post-doctoral research fellow @ the great Chulalongkorn University (World QS rank: 211), Bangkok, Thailand. I'm deeply passionate about research, with a strong inclination toward identifying and solving challenging problems in the field of materials physics/chemistry with interdisciplinary subjects: materials science, nano-science and nanotechnology, electrochemistry, etc.
My research expertise encompasses a wide range of topics, including synthesis of nano-materials/thin films for energy storage and conversion devices, chemical synthesis and physical vapour deposition techniques (Sputtering, PLD, EBPVD, etc.), super-capacitors, batteries and solar cells, electrochemical characterization techniques (CV, GCD, EIS, etc), materials characterization techniques (XRD, XAS, XPS, FE-SEM, EDS, TEM, AFM, etc.), etc.
So far, I have published 32+ papers in the peer reviewed and well reputed international journals and published a book chapter on 'fundamentals and components of super-capacitors. And moreover, I have visited various countries including Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand for my research work as a visiting researcher. I have attended and presented my research work in various international/national conferences to broaden and strengthen my research knowledge base. In addition to this, I have organised/supported for several national and international level conferences. Research is my passion and teaching is ambition.
