About
I have a Ph.D. in the broad area of Electrical Engineering with a specialization in control systems. Prior to that, I did my M.Tech in the specialization of Instrumentation and Control Systems. My expertise is in the design of appropriate control strategies for trajectory tracking in process control systems, aeronautical systems, gas turbines, and autonomous vehicle systems. I have developed strategies to handle multiple-set point tracking, cross-coupling, resonant modes, parametric uncertainty, and disturbance rejection in MIMO systems. While trying to achieve my objectives, I have used techniques such as non-linear regression, curve-fitting, projection algorithm, loop-shaping, multi-objective particle swarm optimization, system identification, and state estimation. I am familiar with linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG), PID, artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, and sliding mode control. I have experience working with MATLAB/SIMULINK and the LabVIEW interface.
I have over two years of industrial experience as an instrumentation engineer in an air separation unit. I am currently involved as a Senior Engineer in L & T Technology Services, where I work on the design and development of electrical systems for commercial aircrafts. I also serve as a voluntary peer reviewer for various reputed journals. I am always open to research collaborations in the domain of biologically inspired control systems.
