Dr. Manoj K. Gangwar
Manoj is a leading expert in the application of catalysis to challenges in sustainable chemistry. He was born in Shahjahanpur, a district in Uttar Pradesh, North India. In 2008, he post-graduated in organic chemistry (2008), at the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, (U.P), India. Manoj then earned his Ph.D. with Prof. Prasenjit Ghosh at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), India. in 2017 studying the Asymmetric Catalysis Mediated by Different Transition Metal N-Heterocyclic Carbene Complexes.
Following a first postdoc with Prof. Basker Sundararaju at IIT Kanpur, India, a second postdoc with Prof. Jean Marei Basset at KAUST, KSA, and a third postdoc with Prof. Jeung Gon Kim at JUBNU, South Korea, Since August 2022, Manoj has been working as an Assistant Professor, at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj–211002, Uttar Pradesh, India.
