With 23+ years of experience spanning urban design, architecture, interiors, academia, and research, I specialize in bridging professional practice with academic inquiry and mentorship. My career reflects a commitment to shaping sustainable, livable, and innovative spaces while inspiring the next generation of architects and urban designers.

In 2003, I founded SEN DESIGNS (Chennai), through which I have successfully led diverse projects across Chennai, Bangalore, and Coimbatore. My portfolio ranges from residential and commercial developments to institutional and urban-scale projects—each reflecting a balance of functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Founded BAREFOOT URBAN LAB ( CHENNAI) 2021 , explores grassroots-level urban issues—such as livability, walkability, and inclusive public spaces—through research projects, workshops, and academic collaborations. Our mission is to bridge the gap between theory, practice, and community needs, fostering innovative approaches to urban transformation.

Parallel to my practice, I have been deeply engaged in academia and research. Currently a Ph.D. Scholar in Architecture at Anna University, my research explores emerging approaches in urban planning, livable streets, and design for social cohesion. I have published extensively in international journals, presented at conferences, and delivered guest lectures, while also providing thesis guidance and academic mentorship to aspiring architects.

As a lifelong learner, I continue to expand my expertise through advanced studies, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Planning & Development (IGNOU) and MOOCs from IITs and global universities.
