Dr. Sanghamitra Sarma

About

Dr. Sanghamitra Sarma is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, North Gauhati College, Guwahati, Assam. She was previously working as a Research Fellow at the Indian Council of World Affairs, New Delhi. She was an Indian Council of Social Science Research Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Political Science, Gauhati University and had also been engaged as a Project Fellow under UGC-SAP in the same University. Dr. Sarma has a number of national and international publications to her credit and has participated in several international seminars as well. Her research interests include Indo-Pacific region, Southeast Asian politics and politics in Europe and European Union affairs. Dr. Sarma’s commentaries related to European and Southeast Asian affairs are regularly broadcasted in the All India Radio.
