S.N.V. Sivakumar is former Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Somaiya Vidyavihar University and Professor of Economics at K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. He has around 35 years of academic and research experience. He obtained MA, M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Hyderabad. He is a recipient of Gold Medal from Kakatiya University for securing first rank in graduation. Under his supervision, so far sixteen scholars were awarded doctoral degrees in general management and economics from the University of Mumbai and SNDT Women’s University and other universities in India. He was granted one patent and two copyrights and published one patent. He published more than sixty research papers in Scopus/ ABDC and peer-reviewed journals, and also published three textbooks.
