I am Dr. M. Saravanan, an Assistant Professor, IEEE Senior Member, and researcher with expertise in antenna design, RF systems, wireless communication, and telemedicine applications. With over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, I specialize in bridging cutting-edge technology with real-world applications that drive innovation and societal impact.

Currently, I serve at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, where I also lead the student mobility programs in the Office of International Relations. In this role, I have:

Spearheaded global academic partnerships and MoUs with leading universities.

Facilitated 300+ international mobility programs, dual-degree pathways, and research collaborations.

Mentored students and faculty to achieve global exposure through internships and joint research.

My current research focuses on smart antenna systems, RF energy harvesting, and multidisciplinary innovations in healthcare technology, with the goal of developing solutions that enhance connectivity and accessibility.

I am passionate about mentorship, innovation, and internationalization, and I thrive on building collaborative networks that connect academia, industry, and research communities worldwide.
