About
Dr. Lalit Kumar is a dynamic Pharmacy professional having expertise in the field of
Pharmaceutics. He is having 11 years of teaching experience in various reputed
organizations and 1 year of industrial experience. Dr. Kumar is also having 9 months
of research experience in the field of Pharmaceutics. Currently, he is working as
Professor (Pharmaceutics) in Shiva Institute of Pharmacy, Chandpur-Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. He qualified for the entrance test conducted by H.P.U., Shimla in 2006 and got
admission in B. Pharmacy course in D.C.S.A.R.A. College of Pharmacy (NBA accredited
college) affiliated to N.M.U., Jalgaon, Maharashtra through nomination from DTE,
Sunder- Nagar, Mandi (H.P.). In the year 2010, Dr. Kumar qualified for GPAT
examination conducted by AICTE with All India Rank (1224), got admission at I.S.F.
College of Pharmacy Moga (Reputed Pharmacy Institute, NBA and NAAC approved,
NIRF Rank 19 for year 2018) in M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics), and completed M. Pharm.
(Pharmaceutics) in 2012. He got registered as Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences) at
IKGPTU, Jalandhar in 2014 and completed a Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences) degree in
Sept., 2021. He has supervised 2 M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) students and 33
undergraduate students. He is currently supervising 1 Ph.D. candidate. Cumulative SCI Impact Factor earned by him is 109.1. Dr. Kumar is having 13 research publications, 28 review publications, 3 editorials, and 5 book chapters in reputed publication houses like Bentham Science Publisher, Taylor
and Francis, and Elsevier (h-index = 15: Google scholar citations = 870). He is also
having Four Indian Design Patents and one Process Patent. He serves as editorial board member of prestigious Journal Cancer Advances (TMR Publishing Group, New Zealand). He is an invited reviewer in various reputed
journals like Artificial cells, Nanomedicine, and Biotechnology (Impact factor 6.3),
Pharmaceutical Development and Technology (Impact factor 3.9), Current
Nanomedicine (Scopus cites core 1.3), Critical Reviews in Therapeutic Drug Carrier
systems (Impact factor 4.9), Current Drug Delivery (Impact factor 3.5), Current
Drug Therapy (Impact factor 0.6), and Recent Patents on Nanotechnology (Impact
factor 2).
