Professor in Environmental Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Benchmarking of utilities, reuse of wastewater and water smart cities are the broad areas of research. Strong research collaboration with Europe through various projects viz., TECHNEAU, SWING and P2R (Indo-French). Indo-US ties are through Obma-Singh project and research collaboration with Temple University, USA. Spent 2-3 years at National University of Singapore as young researcher (post doc) at the NUS Singapore. Notable field project had been setting-up a sewage reuse plant at the President's Estate (Rastrapati Bhavan) and Water Supply Project for Delhi Metro Rail Corp, and Environmental Management for Ganga River Basin for Govt of India.
