Dr. Amrita Jyoti is presently working as a Professor and HOD of the IT department at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad. Dr. Amrita Jyoti has a strong academic background and extensive experience in the fields of computer science and engineering. Her educational journey includes a B.Tech. degree in Information Technology from Kurukshetra University in 2003, an M.Tech. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in 2011, and a Ph.D. from Kurukshetra University in 2021.

With over 20 years of teaching experience in various engineering institutions, Dr. Amrita Jyoti has contributed significantly to the education and guidance of students. She has supervised 30 B.Tech. projects and 2 M.Tech. dissertations, which highlights her involvement in research and project mentoring.

Dr. Amrita Jyoti is also an accomplished author, with a book titled "Data Compression." The first edition of the book was published in 2007, covering techniques of compression in text, audio, and video. This demonstrates her expertise in data compression, which is a complex and important field in computer science.
Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including software engineering, software testing, data compression, data structures, Java programming, cloud computing, and blockchain. By exploring these areas, she actively contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field and stays updated with emerging technologies and trends.

In addition to her teaching and book publications, Dr. Amrita Jyoti has presented numerous research papers in both national and international conferences. Her work has also been published in reputable journals, including 4 articles in SCI (Science Citation Index) journals and 14 articles in Scopus-indexed journals. This signifies her dedication to research and scholarly contributions to the scientific community.
