RESEARCH INTEREST:
My research focuses on synthesis and development of triazine-based polymeric nanomaterials and their application in wastewater remediation using photocatalysis and catalytic hydrogenation, targeting pollutants like textile dyes, nitrophenols, and heavy metals. I have also used these materials for detecting heavy metal ions in water via fluorescence detection techniques, and studied their pollutant-removal mechanisms through mathematical modelling. I aim to expand my research to synthesize various nanomaterials, including metal-organic and covalent organic frameworks, for environmental and energy-harvesting applications.
