About
I am a marine and coastal ecologist specializing in how coastal ecosystems function and how they change in tropical estuarine and mangrove systems. My research focuses on interactions among benthic biodiversity, sediment biogeochemistry, nutrient dynamics, and carbon cycling. I integrate micropaleontological, geochemical, molecular, and quantitative ecological approaches to investigate ecosystem responses to environmental variability and assess coastal ecosystem condition. My broader interests include biodiversity monitoring, environmental assessment, and restoration of tropical coastal ecosystems. I am interested in research collaborations and peer review in coastal ecology, benthic ecology, environmental biogeochemistry, micropaleontology, and tropical coastal ecosystems.
