Dr. Sushant Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (A Central University), Uttarakhand, where he also served as the In-charge Head of the Department of Economics. Specializing in microeconomics, macroeconomics and development economics, his Ph.D. research examined the role of MSMEs in regional economic growth. Previously, he taught at Doon University and worked as a Research Associate under the Government of India's RURBAN Mission. Dr. Kumar has published multiple research papers in reputed journals on MSMEs, sustainable development and regional economies. He has presented at national and international conferences on topics such as women entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and climate resilience. A recipient of the MHRD's JRF and SRF fellowships, he actively participates in faculty development programs on Al in research, statistical tools, and academic writing. His expertise in interdisciplinary approach bridges economic theory with policy solutions.
