About
Prof. Subhrakanta Panda is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. His current areas of interest and research are in Medical Analytics, Social Network Analysis, Blockchain Applications, Cloud Computing, and Software Testing. His Ph.D. thesis is titled Regression Testing of Object-Oriented Software and received his PhD from Dept. of CSE, NIT Rourkela in 2016. He teaches Computer Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Cloud Computing, and Database Systems. He has successfully supervised/Co-supervised 4 Ph.D. students. He is currently supervising/co-supervising the work of 2 Ph.D research scholars. He has more than 40+ published articles, papers, and book chapters in various journals, conferences and edited book volumes. He has adapted the Indian edition of the Book, “Data Structures and Algorithms in Python by Goodrich, Tamassia, Goldwasser” published by Wiley.
Prof. Subhrakanta always carries a high level of motivation to discuss any idea under the sky. He always strives to bring out the best in people he works with. He believes that every mind is a fire, and it just needs to be rekindled. He always carries a positive perspective when approaching an issue. He has a broad range of interests and hobbies. He loves to read books, play chess, and solve Sudoku puzzles. Anyone interested to team up with him is most welcome.
