Engineer in Automation graduated with honors in 2016 at the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas in Santa Clara, Cuba. Since its graduation, he began to work as a professor and researcher in the Department of Automatic Control. As professor, he taught lectures related to the simulation of electrical circuits through MATLAB software, specifically the Simulink Toolbox. Also, he delivered lectures related to Control Engineering such as Stability Analysis System, Control Systems Design by Frequency Response, Nonlinear Control Systems Design, and Digital Controllers Tuning. He has also taught “Software tools for control purpose” for control an electric drive using LabVIEW as Data Acquisition Card interface and MATLAB as a Control Software. Furthermore, he has completed postgraduate courses related to a master's program in Automation Engineering and others that have been of my interest. He has also collaborated with students in tutoring bachelor’s thesis. As a member of Robotic Automation and Perception Group (GARP), he has developed research related to Precision Agriculture, due to the importance of this topic for the actual development of the agricultural sector in his country; in these senses, he has worked in different topics such as planning tasks for Variable Rate Application and auto-guidance functionalities focus on sprayer and harvester machinery form Case IH manufacturer. Also worked on the development of “Geographic Information System” as support of Decision-Making Systems. This last research has allowed me to defend his master's thesis.

He got a stay abroad as a part of a Scholarship for Master in Autonomous Systems Engineering at the Hochschule Heilbronn in Germany. During this period, he received lectures related with Design of Control Strategy focus on Autonomous Systems, using the MATLAB / Simulink software and Robot Operative System with control propose. Moreover, he worked as a part of Mini Auto Drive project on developing a fault-tolerant computer vision system for autonomous driven SAE levels 4 and 5. This research experience has allowed him to improve his skills in Control Theory, Control Engineering, and programming in C ++ language. Then he continued working in this research area with the development of an Autonomous Car, based on hardware and software open source. In this topic, he worked with ROS as control software installed in a Raspberry Pi where he tested some predefined algorithms likes Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), Monte Carlo Localization (MCL), Sensor Fusion Algorithms (EKF and UKF) and Guidance Algorithms such as Line of Sight (LOS) and Pure Pursuit (PP).

He has attended to the DiveCropS workshop on GIS and Remote Sensing headed by Rostock University. In this frame he received lectures related with the use of Google Earth Engine (GEE) Remote Sensing and Satellite Missions, for environmental surveillance and geo-analysis.

He has started as a Ph.D. student of the 37th Cycle of the Agricultural, Environmental, and Food Science and Technology (STAAA) Program offered by the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL, University of Bologna). He carries out his research in the development of Smart Systems for precision agriculture and livestock farming within the framework of the projects SIMTAP for sustainable aquaponics and RES4LIFE about building technologies to improve energy efficiency.
