Dr. Manas Ranjan Behera has a diverse work experience of about 20 years in the areas of public health teaching, research, program implementation and management. Dr. Manas has earned Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree preceeded by two master’s degrees– Master of Public Health (MPH) from University of Leeds, UK and MPH in Health Administration (MHA) from TISS, Mumbai. Dr. Manas has also completed post graduate certificate programs in ‘Global Health’ from Imperial College, London (UK), and ‘One Health’ from University of Geneva and 'Heath & Society' Course from Harvard University among others. He has authored more tahn 75 published papers in peer reviewed journals (indexed in Pubmed, Web of Science, SCI, Scopus etc) and received research grants from Govt. of India to his credit. His research area includes Social Determinants of Health, Health behavior & Health Promotion, Health System Research, Climate Change & Health, One Health, Eldery Health, Communicable & Non-communicable Diseases, Global Health etc
