About

Dr. Teekam Singh, Principal Scientist, Division of Agronomy, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, holds a B.Sc. (Ag.) from Rajasthan College of Agriculture, RAU Bikaner, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Agronomy from IARI, New Delhi in 2005. He began his career as Assistant Professor at MPUAT, Udaipur (2005–2012), focusing on agricultural extension and technology transfer. He later joined as Senior Scientist at Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station, ICAR-CRRI, Gerua, Asom during 2012 to 2017), and since 2017, has been actively involved in teaching and research at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. Dr. Singh has published 100 research papers, over 60 book chapters, 70 popular articles, and authored/edited 16 books/manuals. He has guided 5 M.Sc. students and received several honors, including fellowships and best poster awards. His research focuses on rainfed farming, crop diversification, weed science, and precision nutrient management.
