I am a clinical biochemist and physician-scientist working at the intersection of molecular diagnostics, laboratory medicine, and digital health systems.
As an Associate Professor at PGIMER, Chandigarh, my work spans clinical laboratory leadership, translational biomarker research, and the design of next-generation diagnostic ecosystems—with a focus on how AI and data-driven frameworks are reshaping laboratory medicine.
🔬 Research & Translational Science
My research focuses on extracellular vesicles (EVs) as next-generation biomarkers, particularly in:
• Molecular psychiatry (schizophrenia, depression, treatment response)
• Maternal and metabolic disorders (including gestational diabetes)
• Multi-omics integration (proteomics, transcriptomics, miRNA profiling)
Through the PregaMind EV-OMICS Lab, we aim to translate EV biology into clinically actionable diagnostics, bridging molecular insights with real-world laboratory practice.
