I have been a Senior Research Scientist in the "School of Nano-Science and Technology, SNST" department of the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur since September 2021. I am responsible for designing and fabricating flexible sensors and applying these sensors in a feasible application. Developing advanced electronics and computer applications for handheld and easy-to-use medical or different applications.
Earlier I was a Senior Research Assistant at the Center of Excellence for Systems Biology and Biomedical Engineering, Department of Applied Optics and Photonics, University of Calcutta. I received a BSc degree in Physics honours and a BTech degree in Optics and Optoelectronics from the University of Calcutta in 2004 and 2007, respectively. I have also completed almost 12 years as Principal Research Scientist in a Research and Development Laboratory (SAMEER, Government of India) under the Ministry of Information Technology and Electronics, Government of India. I have completed my PhD in Three Dimensional imaging Of Microscopic Samples, under the supervision of Prof. Kallol Bhattacharya, Professor in the Department of Applied Optics and Photonics, University of Calcutta.
