About
I am a microbiologist with 8+ years of research experience in microbial ecology, microbial physiology, microbial adaptation, metabolism, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. My research expertise lies in investigating microbial diversity, function, and metabolism across diverse environments through integrated physiological, genomic, transcriptomic, and biogeochemical approaches, with a focus on thermal stress adaptation, nutrient limitation responses, and climate-relevant microbial processes. I am currently a postdoctoral associate at the University of Florida, where I investigate the physical and chemical interactions between nitrifiers and plants in hydroponic systems, with a particular emphasis on understanding nitrogen partitioning between microbial and plant communities.
