About
Dr. Mahesh B. Professor in Chemistry and Dean-Research, JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bengaluru- 560060, obtained MSc., and a Ph.D. degree from the DOS in Chemistry, Manasagangothri, University of Mysore, Mysuru. His research interests include synthetic Peptide-based polymers and their blends for biomedical applications, facile methods of catalytic transfer hydrogenation for organic synthesis, electrochemical sensors, Environmental Chemistry, Novel analytical methods, and Ethnobotanical remediation for treating diabetes and cancer. Molecular dynamics. He has undertaken funded research projects guided three students to Ph.D. degrees and is currently guiding 06 research scholars. Now his group is concentrating on the (i) development of novel peptide-based polymer blends for wound treatment and tissue engineering, (iii) Electrochemical sensors and (iii) Alternative materials for water treatment.
