Deeptimayee Pal has obtained her PhD from the National Institute of Technology in the Department of Chemical Engineering. She has an Indian patent (IN Patent 537,434) focusing on the synthesis of value-added materials (such as zeolite) from industrial wastes (such as dolochar). She has SCI-indexed research articles published in reputable international journals like Environmental Research and Environmental Science and Pollution Research. She has authored various Scopus-indexed book chapters in the areas of water treatment, emerging pollutants, and sustainable waste management in internationally published volumes. And serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Water Resources and Ocean Science.
