THE ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY FOR TRAINING, RESEARCH AND OUTREACH (ASTRO), B M Birla Science Centre, Amity Centre of Excellence in Astrobiology, Osmania University
About
I have finished my PhD in Astronomy at the Department of Astronomy at Osmania University. Before this, I completed my Masters in Astronomy at the same university. In 2018, I also earned an International Diploma in Astrobiology from the Indian Astrobiology Research Centre.
My area of research is centred on studying close binaries with tertiary components. To achieve this, I utilize a range of ground-based and space-based observations. My work involves reducing and analyzing photometric and spectroscopic data of these close binaries and identifying any period variations that may indicate the presence of tertiary bodies.
I've begun my job as a Scientific Officer at the G P Birla Archaeological Astronomical and Scientific Research Institute. My main responsibilities include organizing and conducting workshops, training sessions, and other tasks.
