About
I am Dr. Pullagura Indira Priyadarsini, an academician, researcher, and academic leader currently serving as Professor and Head, Department of Cyber Security. With 19 years of teaching experience, including 11 years of post-Ph.D. academic experience, I have consistently contributed to excellence in higher education, research, and institutional development across reputed engineering institutions. As a committed educator and mentor, I have successfully guided nearly 80 undergraduate and postgraduate projects at the B.Tech and M.Tech levels, nurturing analytical thinking, innovation, and research aptitude among students.I have authored over 25 research publications in Scopus-indexed and other reputed international journals, contributing to advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cryptography, Network Security, and Soft Computing. My research philosophy integrates strong theoretical foundations with practical, application-driven approaches in emerging technological domains. I also hold two patents, reflecting my commitment to innovation and translational research.
Throughout my academic career, I have actively organized and convened national and international conferences, workshops, and academic forums to promote collaborative research and knowledge dissemination. I have served as a reviewer for prestigious conferences, including: International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Data Engineering (ICCIDE 2017 & 2018), International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Trends and Pattern Recognition (ICAITPR 2022).
In addition to teaching and research, I have undertaken key academic administrative responsibilities. I have served as an IQAC Coordinator and as a member of the Board of Examiners (BOE) in reputed engineering institutions, contributing to curriculum enhancement, academic quality assurance, and accreditation processes.
I earned my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, in 2015, which marked the beginning of a dynamic post-doctoral research and academic leadership journey spanning over a decade. I completed my M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering and my B.Tech from RVR & JC College of Engineering. As a GATE qualifier with a consistent record of academic excellence, I remain dedicated to advancing research, fostering innovation, and strengthening academic ecosystems in the domain of Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence.
